Mum has been slowly bringing Gem back into work, and she has been going kindly. So Mum decided it was time to get her out and about and do something. Saddle Up has a show on that looked nice and low-key with in-hand classes in the morning. Gem won her confo class and then picked up a few ribbons in the ridden classes including the 'most suitable ARC mount' type class (Gem! can you even believe it?). I'm told Mum's display included round-the-world, sliding off Gem's bum (you're keen) and then sitting under her tummy!
What a good girl Gem was (even if she did have a little tantrum in the morning and rip her falsie out by the roots!).
